LUNAR FOR PLANET EARTH

"Sorry, can I borrow your correction pen?"

 I turned my head and looked at girl beside me. Her hand raised up to me.

"Sure" I nodded my head and gave her my red correction pen

"Thanks" she was smiling to me

"No problem" I was smiling too and looking back to the speaker in the front of auditorium

That is the first time I met Irene in new students orientation seminary. Irene is my best friend. She is kind and smart person. Almost three years we always together from first semester until seventh semester. I really trust her, so why I always tell my secrets to Irene. One of my big secrets is I like my lecturer. His name is Edward. He is a physics lecturer. The first time I met him was in third semester. I love him at the first sight. He is very handsome and charismatic, especially when he teaches in the front of class. He also the youngest lecturer in science education major. His age is twenty-seven years old and he is not married yet.

"MARSHA"

"Oh my God!" I am very startled

"What's wrong dude?" said me angrily

"Mr. Edward is calling you" said Irene

"Hah" I am opening my eyes and my mouth widely because shock. Irene is nodding her head and pointing Mr. Edward with her eyes, sign that it is true

"Yes Sir?" said me, looking to Mr. Edward

"What are you doing Ms. Marsha? Please focus in my class" said Mr. Edward

"Yes Sir, I am sorry" said me, feeling sorry

Mr. Edward stares at me for a while and start explains the material again

"Oh my gosh, I am very shy" said me soft, Irene just laugh behind me

Yes, my name is Marsha. I am twenty-one years old. I study in Saturn University, Science Education Major and this is my story.

Voice of Samantha Moon has fulling of my room. She is famous singer in England and of course, she is my favorite singer. I like her since I am teenager. She is very beautiful and has soft voice. Her voice always make me like fly to the moon every hear it. She also nice to her fans. It is why I really like her because she is down to earth although she is a famous singer.

This is Saturday and it is a time for me to reading novels and watch movies until night with Samantha Moon's voice accompanies me.

“Marsha yoo-hoo” it is Irene’s voice. I am very familiar with her voice. I guess she got bored in her home, so she goes to my home in this early morning

”Hmmm” I mumbled without see Irene because I too lazy to move my body

“Let’s go to Star Light Café” said Irene and jumped to my bed

“No Irene, I can not, today I am busy” I said the truth, I really busy with myself

 “Busy with your novels and movies” said Irene, rolling her eyes

“And Samantha Moon’s voice of course” I am nodding my head

“Oh my God! Marsha, I really want to eat red velvet cake from Star Light Café. Company me please. You are my best friend right?” said Irene with her puppy eyes

“Ok ok, I will company you. Stop look at me with your puppy eyes” 

Fortunately she is my best friend, if not I will never want to left my bedroom just for red velvet cake, oh my Gosh. However, it will be different if Mr. Edward that ask me, I will do it directly hehehehe.

Star Light Café is so crowded. There are lot of people here. Maybe it is because today is a sunny day. So that, people more like to spend their time with walking outside and eating in café or restaurant with their family, their friends or their couple. Irene and I chose to sit behind window. This is our favorite place in Star Light Café. Fortunately, although this café is crowded but we can still sit in our favorite place. From this table we can see the capital street that never quiet. 

  

“This cake is very delicious” said Irene closed her eyes. She is so dramatic. I just can laugh to see her

“Be careful dude, you are like never eat something in a week” Irene and her mood make me always laugh

Just silent make me feel bored, so I choose to read e-book from my smartphone

“Marsha” called Irene to me

“Hmm” I just mumbling because I am focus reading story

“Look, who is it?” Irene is shaking my arm make me feel disturbed. Oh come one dude who are they, why Irene really want me to see them?

“Who?” I am looking up to my left side and surprise. I really shock  

Oh my Gosh, he is Mr. Edward. How handsome he is in casual outfit. He is wearing navy short-sleeved t-shirt and long jeans. His appearance today is very different with his appearance when he was teaching in class, but he still handsome. Yeah I think he will always look handsome in any clothes.

“My Earth” said me

Yes, he is my earth and I want to be her lunar who always be him side. I do not know why I love him so much. Is it because he is handsome or is it because he smart? I do not know. I just know that the first time I saw him, I fall into him and I do not want to wake up from this. Love is never asking a reason right? You know what, I never falling in love with someone before I met him. Yeah he is my first love. Maybe you will not believe me but I said the truth. I am not easy to falling in love, but he is great. He makes me falling love just in a second. Loving him make my life become more colorful. I feel happy and shy when meet him. I feel sad when I do not see him in campus and I feel envy when see him with another girl. All of the feeling that I never felt before make my life more colorful and I like it.

Today Irene and I in Campus Park doing assignment from Mr. George. He gives us an assignment because he is sick and can not come to the class. This assignment is as the replacement of his class today.

“Irene” I remember something and I want to tell her

“Yes” answered Irene but she still focus on her laptop

“You know what Irene, Samantha Moon will be married today. Yoo-hoo” yes last night I got new news from Samantha Moon. Today she will be married with her boyfriend

“Really? With who? I never know if Samantha Moon was dating with someone” said Irene, looking at me in wonder

I know this news was shocking because we never know that Samantha Moon was dating with someone. She was keeping her secret for long time and no one knows about it. Just last night she revealed everything in Tonight Show.

“Yeah because Samantha Moon never show her boyfriend to the public. Her boyfriend is her childhood friend. They have been dating for two years and today they will married”

 “Ooh” Irene is nodding her head

“Yes and I want to watch it in YouTube”

“Her wedding ceremony will live in YouTube?”

“Yes, in her YouTube channel. Thirty minutes again”

“Ok before it, you must finish your assignment first”

“Ok ma’am”

Irene and I are laughing and starting do the assignment again

Twenty-five minutes later

“Yes finish, finally. My brain is so tired” I close my laptop after sent my assignment to Mr. George’s email. This assignment hard enough

“Me too” said Irene and closed her laptop too

“Five minutes again the wedding ceremony will start. Hah, I am very curious about who is the groom. He must be a handsome and nice guy” I look at my smartphone

“Yes I think so. Samantha is very beautiful and nice person. The man is very lucky can marry Samantha Moon” said Irene, I am nodding my head agree with her

“Oh my God, this is the time”

I click the YouTube notification from Samantha Moon YouTube channel immediately. Oh my God, I am very happy my favorite singer will be married. The video start in Samantha Moon’s room. She is get ready to go the church. She said that she is very nervous. Yes, me too, I do not why. After arrived in the church, she and her father are walking to the altar. Samantha Moon is very beautiful in her wedding dress. I do not see the groom yet, the video still focus on Samantha Moon.

Now the camera starts shooting the groom. Finally, I can see the groom, but wait what is it? Is not true right?

What is Mr. Edward doing there? No, is it just dream right? The groom is Mr. Edward. 

Oh my God my heart broke. It is impossible. No way. I can not accept it. This is my first falling in love, why did it break like this? 

My heart is so sick. I can believe it. My earth. How can it be?

“Marsha, are you ok?” said Irene felt worried

I am shaking my head. I am not ok Irene. My heart is so sick. I can not say anything. I just want to cry and cry. I love him and I love her too, but why it become like this? Oh my God, my heart. Irene is crying too and hugging me. We are crying together for my first broken heart.

This is my graduation day. Today I will tell about my feeling to Mr. Edward. I just want to feel free from this feeling. I think today is the best time for me to do it and after it I will move to France. Irene and I have promise to continue our study in France. After move from this place, I will forget everything about Mr. Edward and start my new life without him in my mind. Now I am in Campus Park with Mr. Edward. I was asking him to meet in Campus Park. I am so nervous.

“Mr. Edward, I want to say that I love you” I am trying to be brave and look at Mr. Edward’s eyes to convince him that I was serious

“No, let me say everything first, please” I do not need answer from Mr. Edward I just need him to listen to me

“Ok, go on” said Mr. Edward

“I love you since I was in third semester. I love you at the first sight but I never had the courage to say it to you. You are my first love Sir and your wedding day is the first time I felt broken heart. Today I say it to you because I want to feel free from this feeling. Thank you for everything Sir. I hope you will always be happy with your wife”

“Sorry but I appreciate your feeling”

“Thank you Sir. Good bye”

This is the end of my love story. Mr. Edward is Planet Earth and Samantha Moon is his Lunar. I am just Planet Mars who will always be behind Planet Earth. Planet Mars will never stand beside Planet Earth.
